Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated June 26, 2026
Locker Drop is a tool for sending files you have the right to send. The following uses are strictly prohibited.
Prohibited content and conduct
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits or endangers minors — zero tolerance.
- Malware, ransomware, viruses, or content designed to harm systems.
- Phishing, fraud, or impersonation.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual-property rights; pirated media or software.
- Content that is unlawful, threatens or harasses others, or incites violence.
- Distributing another person’s private or sensitive information without authorization.
- Attempting to bypass payment, rate limits, or abuse the Service’s infrastructure.
How we enforce
Because content is end-to-end encrypted, we cannot monitor it. We rely on reports and legal process. When we receive a credible report, we can and will remove the link and delete the stored ciphertext, and we may suspend the sender’s access. Payment records associated with a transfer may be retained and disclosed as required by law.
CSAM
We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.
To report a Locker Drop link being used in violation of this policy, email abuse@inbox.locker with the link. We act on reports promptly.
